Volume Three
In March 1992, at the behest of the then Squire of the Ring (
Mike Chandler ), editorial
responsibility for the Morris Ring
Circular was transferred to Eddie
Dunmore. This change meant that a clear distinction
between the two publications could be established, with the
Circular recording the current
scene & The Morris Dancer
concentrating on research into antecedents & origins.
A dearth of suitable material resulted in Number One of Volume
Three eventually appearing in December 1993; Number Twelve , the final publication of
Eddie's editorial tenure, was published in January 2005.
This opportunity to improve the quality of publication was
exploited, the capabilities of the personal computer having
evolved rapidly. Apart from the first few issues, this Volume was
no longer published as camera-ready copy. Each edition was
transformed into Adobe Acrobat
© format to be processed directly by the printer.
