Initially, The Morris Dancer
was a triannual publication, & Number One was a triumph of manual
production, being typed, collated & stapled on Rusty's
kitchen table. The only concession to modern technology was the
photocopying of the camera-ready typescripts.
Number Twentyone , the final
edition of Rusty's tenure, was published in March 1985.
Volume One has now been scanned
& re-typeset into Acrobat©
format.
Clicking anywhere on the facsimile of the cover of "The Morris Dancer, Volume One" will take you
to its complete Table of Contents. The contents of all
twentyone editions are presented in chronological order on
succeeding separate pages. Each page is dynamically linked to the
contents page in that specific edition, where every entry is
dynamically linked to the relevant page.
Locate your article of interest & click anywhere on the
typescript. This will take you to the Contents page of the
relevant edition (signalled by the change of background colour);
clicking there on your article of interest will take you directly
to the start of that article. Where subsections such as
"References", etc., are on subsequent pages, they may be
individually referenced.
Please remember that the articles you are reading are the
copyright of the Morris Ring and
of the individual authors. Should you wish to make extracts, for
any purpose other than personal interest, please contact either
the author of the article or any officer of the Morris Ring .
NB You will, of course, need to
install your own copy of Acrobat
